There is no danger of anyone experiencing seasickness on a canal trip. This is because the canal is always completely calm, and our barge, being 48 tonnes in weight, cruises along slowly and smoothly with no rolling of any kind. Our barge is propelled by two electric motors which operate silently.
Private events can be of any duration. Typically, they run for 2, 3 or 4 hours. On a 4-hour event, we typically spend 2 to 3hours cruising, but this will all be agreed upon in advance at time of booking
In general, all of the food consumed at an event is freshly prepared in our galley on board. Customers are, however, welcome to bring small snack items themselves if they are not planning to have substantial food at their event (for example, for a drinks-only event).
Yes. We apply a corkage fee to any drink customers wish to provide themselves. However, we have a fully stocked bar on board and can offer to provide special wines and cocktails to order as required
Customers are welcome to decorate the boat as required, but do need to coordinate this carefully with our crew.
